Vegetarianism always inspired me. Even
during my childhood in the Middle East, I was eager to frequent vegetarian
restaurants and enjoy their delicacies. Even as a child, I was greatly affected
by the slaughter of animals. All I wanted was to end cruelty to the poor
animals and give them all chances to live in this world. As I grew up I realized the importance of the
adage ‘Never kill and eat’. I wanted every animal to live as it is a being and
never be slaughtered. Then I became employed in an organization run by
vegetarians and I became passionate about vegetarianism. I realized that it is
the most noble way to exist and let other beings live without inflicting
cruelty on them. My instincts against the slaughter of animals have been instigating
me to plan my diet as vegetarian. I further realize how easily we can cope with
preserving the lives of tame animals while simply managing our diet. While
simply choosing vegetarian delicacies, we can let live maximum animals and
enjoy our lives with them and their existence. We as human beings should realize
that even animals are living beings and we have no right to end their lives.
Instead we should proclaim our superiority as human beings by allowing them
survive and live. As many human beings we should also tame them to be our pets
and support their living. All we have to do is to domesticate animals such as
cows, pigs, dogs, lambs, elephants, cats, birds, fowl, chicks, turkeys,
rabbits, hares, turtles, dolphins, doves, horses, mules, buffalos and all
little creations of God. Share our love with them and let them live
forever. After all even animals deserve
to live and we cannot determine their end especially while they are special
creations of the same God who created us and the world, our common habitat for
all living beings.
